Bottom-rankedBlue Whales (0-41) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 41th consecutive match to nineteenth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (12-29) 101-85 on Monday evening. Jiangsu D. dominated down low during the game scoring 80 of its points in the paint compared to Blue Whales 's 34. The best player for the winners was American forward Harry Giles III (208-1998, college: Duke) who had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field). His fellow American import forward Feron Hunt (203-1999, college: SMU) chipped in 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Puerto Rican Kyle Vinales (188-1992, college: CCSU) produced 30 points and 9 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Weihao Li (204-1997) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Jiangsu D. and four Sichuan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jiangsu D. maintains nineteenth place with 12-29 record. Sichuan lost their 40th game in a row. They still close the standings.
