There was a minor upset when 7th rankedEagles (18-13) lost to tenth ranked Golden Bulls (17-14) in Qingdao 96-100 on Saturday. Zhejiang GB. made 32-of-38 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-1995, college: Kentucky) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds and international Shuaipeng Cheng (191-1999) supported him with 24 points and 5 assists. Golden Bulls' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 39 points (!!!) and 7 assists by American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) did not help to save the game for Qingdao E. . His fellow American import power forward Jordan Mickey (203-1994, college: LSU) added 17 points and 12 rebounds. Five Zhejiang GB. and four Qingdao E. players scored in double figures. Zhejiang GB. moved-up to eighth place. Loser Eagles keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost.
