Very important is a road loss of third rankedHeroes (20-10) against eleventh ranked Loongs (16-15) on Friday night. Visiting Heroes were defeated by Loongs in a tough game in Taiyuan 94-100 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Heroes. Shanxi L. forced 20 Shandong H. turnovers. Strangely Shandong H. outrebounded Shanxi L. 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Shandong H. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Marcos Knight (191-1989, college: MTSU, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 5 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Guinean-American Hamidou Diallo (198-1998, college: Kentucky) who added 14 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Keyontae Johnson (195-1999, college: Kansas St.) with 30 points and 6 assists and his fellow American import center Baylee Steele (213-1997, college: Duquesne, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Five Shanxi L. and four Shandong H. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanxi L. moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Liaoning and Ningbo R. Shandong H. at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost.
