Worth to mention about the upset in a game betweenDucks (17-10) and Sturgeons (11-16), which took place in Jinjiang. Higher ranked Ducks lost to fifteenth ranked Sturgeons in a road game 104-109 on Thursday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ducks. Fujian S. made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American point guard QJ Peterson (183-1994, college: VMI, agency: JCK Sports Group) who scored that evening 38 points (!!!) and forward Yang Zou (198-2000) supported him with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds by American center Javale McGee (213-1988, college: Nevada) did not help to save the game for Beijing D. . The former international center Qi Zhou (217-1996) added 15 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Five Beijing D. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Sturgeons have a solid three-game winning streak. Fujian S. moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Jilin NE T. Loser Ducks keeps the fifth position with ten games lost.
