There was no surprise in Putian where 5th rankedFujian Nanan (3-17) was defeated by third ranked Liaoning Hengye (13-7) 100-82 on Sunday. Liaoning dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Fujian Nanan 's 42. Liaoning outrebounded Fujian Z. 46-27 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Myisha Hines-Allen (185-1996, college: Louisville) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. The other American import point guard Tea Cooper (173-1997, college: Baylor) chipped in 39 points (!!!). Liaoning Hengye's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Guard Lin Xinyi (175-2003) produced 20 points and 4 steals and point guard Yang Rui (173-2005) added 11 points, 7 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Five Fujian Z. players scored in double figures. Liaoning moved-up to second place, which they share with Henan. Fujian Z. lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 17 games lost.
