CBA top team -Guangsha Lions (17-3) managed to deliver another win on Tuesday. This time they beat sixth ranked Eagles (12-8) in Qingdao 93-84 . Guangsha L. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The former international center Jinqiu Hu (211-1997) orchestrated the victory by scoring 31 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international guard Minghui Sun (187-1996) contributed with 12 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five Guangsha Lions players scored in double figures. American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import power forward Jordan Mickey (203-1994, college: LSU) added 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Qingdao E.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-3 record. Qingdao E. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost.
