The most exciting game of round 13 in the NBL took place in Hefei. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of much higher rankedHefei (9-4) to eleventh ranked Shandong (5-8) 79-76 on Sunday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hefei. American guard Branden Frazier (191-1992, college: Fordham) fired 21 points and 5 assists for the winners. His fellow American import center Michael Holyfield (211-1992, college: SHSU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. American forward Brandon McCoy (213-1998, college: UNLV, agency: MSG) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Xiran Zhang (188) added 21 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Shandong maintains eleventh place with 5-8 record. Hefei at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Jiangxi.
