There was no surprise in Chengdu where 6th rankedSwordfish (12-8) was crushed by third ranked Yuanda (15-5) 105-82 on Sunday. Sichuan dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Swordfish 's 44 and made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. Sichuan had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Bulgarian center Khaalia Hillsman (196-1996, college: Texas A&M) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and American forward Natasha Howard (188-1991, college: FSU, agency: LBM Management) who added 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Center Ziqi Xu (195-2007) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and forward Xu Nuo (180-2002) scored 16 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Four Shanghai players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yuanda have a solid three-game winning streak. Sichuan moved-up to second place, which they share with Guangdong. Loser Swordfish dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with Jiangsu and Xinjiang.
