An interesting game forFlame (14-4) which hosted in Taiyuan one of their biggest challengers Yuanda (12-5). Second ranked Flame managed to get a 9-point victory 91-82 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Yuanda. Shanxi forced 22 Sichuan turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for American center Queen Egbo (193-2000, college: Baylor) who led her team to a victory with 29 points. Australian guard Marena Whittle (180-1994, college: NDSU, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 21 points and 7 assists for the winners. Australian center Elizabeth Cambage (205-1991) replied with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and the former international guard Siyu Wang (175-1995) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists in the effort for Sichuan. Five Sichuan players scored in double figures. Yuanda's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Flame have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Shanxi maintains second position with 14-4 record behind leader Hefei. Sichuan at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost.
