The most interesting game of round 13 in the WCBA was a home defeat of 5th rankedShandong (8-5) by third ranked Shanxi (9-4) who outscored them by 18 points 93-75 . Flame made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Flame outrebounded Sports Lottery 40-28 including 25 on the defensive glass. Flame looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) for the winners and center Queen Egbo (193-2000, college: Baylor) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Flame players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Cheyenne Parker-Tyus (193-1992, college: MTSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and guard Maya Caldwell (180-1998, college: Georgia) scored 10 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanxi moved-up to second place, which they share with Jiangsu and Sichuan. Shandong at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Xiamen.
