No shocking result in a game in Chengdu where fourth rankedYuanda (9-4) outleveled 7th ranked Magic Deer (6-7) 97-72 on Wednesday. Sichuan dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Magic Deer 's 42 and made 23-of-24 free shots (95.8 percent) during the game. Sichuan outrebounded Xinjiang 43-30 including a 36-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sichuan looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Siyu Wang fired 25 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. American-Bulgarian center Khaalia Hillsman (196-1996, college: Texas A&M) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Yuanda players scored in double figures. American-Hungarian forward Beatrice Mompremier (193-1996, college: Miami, FL) produced 17 points and 9 rebounds and American-Jordanian guard Aisha Sheppard (175-1998, college: Virginia Tech) added 15 points and 10 assists respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Yuanda . Sichuan moved-up to second place, which they share with Jiangsu and Shanxi. Loser Magic Deer keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. They share it with Wuhan.
