Rather expected game in Jiyuan where bottom-rankedGanzhou (0-12) was crushed by third ranked Henan Phoenix (8-4) 95-67 on Monday. Henan dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Ganzhou 's 28 and made 28-of-31 free shots (90.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Ganzhou 54-32 including a 42-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-1994, college: Texas) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Her fellow American import point guard Shatori Walker-Kimbrough (175-1996, college: Maryland) chipped in 20 points. American guard Jaime Nared (188-1995, college: Tennessee) produced 12 points and 7 rebounds and her fellow the other American import import point guard Diamond Johnson (165-1983, college: Norfolk St., agency: LBM Management) added 11 points and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
