Everything went according to plan when fourth rankedXiamen (5-3) outplayed at home bottom-ranked Ganzhou (0-8) 112-78 on Wednesday. Xiamen dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Ganzhou 's 34 and made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Ganzhou 40-25 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Huang Yaling nailed 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Lai Tingyi accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Xiamen players scored in double figures. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 11 players saving starting five for next games. American forward Cheyenne Parker-Tyus (193-1992, college: MTSU) came up with 22 points and her fellow the other American import import guard Maya Caldwell (180-1998, college: Georgia) added 21 points respectively for Ganzhou in the defeat. Xiamen moved-up to third place, which they share with Henan. Ganzhou lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost.
