There was no surprise when 12th rankedRed Wolves (1-8) lost to seventh ranked Magic Deer (4-5) in Weinan 72-82 on Wednesday. Xinjiang dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Red Wolves 's 32. Xinjiang looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Wu Tongtong nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists for the winning side and American-Hungarian forward Beatrice Mompremier (193-1996, college: Miami, FL) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Magic Deer players scored in double figures. American power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and added 17 points respectively for Shaanxi in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Xinjiang maintains seventh place with 4-5 record, which they share with Shanghai. Shaanxi lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Zhejiang.
