Regular Season Round 4: Zhejiang GB. - Fujian S. 88-79

Golden Bulls ' fans can celebrate the first win of their team after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Sturgeons (1-3) 88-79 . Zhejiang GB. outrebounded Fujian S. 45-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. Zhejiang GB. players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Damian Jones (210-1995, college: Vanderbilt) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and the other American import swingman Brandon Randolph (198-1997, college: Arizona) who added 20 points during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Travis Trice II (183-1993, college: Michigan St.) responded with 18 points and 4 assists and Slovakian power forward Vladimir Brodziansky (210-1994, college: TCU, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Zhejiang GB. and four Fujian S. players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Golden Bulls left bottom position moving up to fifteenth place, which they share with Fujian S. and Shenzhen L.
