Everything went according to plan in Nanjing where second rankedJiangsu (5-2) beat 8th ranked Swordfish (3-5) 102-91 on Friday. Jiangsu made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Shanghai 's players. American swingman Jazmine Jones (183-1996, college: Louisville) fired 18 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Luo Xinyu chipped in 22 points and 4 assists. American point guard Chennedy Carter (175-1998, college: Texas A&M) produced a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and center Yutong Liu (201-2001) added 21 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Swordfish's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Jiangsu . They maintain second place with 5-2 record behind leader Guangdong, which they share with Shanxi and Hefei. Loser Swordfish dropped to the ninth position with five games lost.
