Very expected game in Qingdao whereBlue Whales were crushed by Eagles 96-64 on Monday. Qingdao E. outrebounded Sichuan 47-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Quinndary Weatherspoon (190-1996, college: MSU) who scored 16 points and 4 assists. The other American import guard Joseph Young (188-1992, college: Oregon) chipped in 15 points. Five Eagles players scored in double figures. American guard Dezmine Wells (196-1992, college: Maryland) produced 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and added 9 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
