There was a minor upset whenMagic Deer (1-2) was outleveled by Flame (1-2) in Taiyuan 80-48 on Monday. Shanxi dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Magic Deer 's 30. Shanxi forced 23 Xinjiang turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for Yuting Lin who led the winners and scored 19 points and 6 assists. American center Queen Egbo (193-2000, college: Baylor) accounted for 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Flame players scored in double figures. Flame's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American-Hungarian forward Beatrice Mompremier (193-1996, college: Miami, FL) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and added 17 points and 5 assists respectively for Xinjiang in the defeat.
