Regular Season Round 11: Hunan - Guangxi 86-90

The game between third rankedHunan (7-5) and seventh ranked Guangxi Hunan was defeated by Guangxi in a tough game in Changsha 86-90 . It was a great evening for American Joe Lawson (200-1992, college: Indianapolis) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Javion Hamlet (193-1998, college: N.Texas) helped adding 15 points and 8 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Lawson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Guangxi's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Dakari Johnson (213-1995, college: Kentucky) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and forward Jiaxin Liu (200-1998) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five Guangxi and four Hunan players scored in double figures. Guangxi maintains seventh place with 4-8 record. Hunan at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. They share it with Hefei.
