LeaderGuangsha Lions delivered the 36th win on Thursday night. This time they beat 15th ranked Pioneers (11-31) 109-103 in Tianjin. 32 personal fouls committed by Tianjin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) who scored 28 points and 6 assists. The former international center Jinqiu Hu (211-1997) chipped in 25 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). American guard Marcus LoVett Jr (183-1996, college: St.John's, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import forward Scottie James Jr (202-1996, college: Liberty, agency: Pensack Sports) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Guangsha L. and five Tianjin players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guangsha Lions (36-6) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Guangsha L. maintains first position. Tianjin lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 31 games lost. They share the position with Guangzhou.
