Important game to mention about took place in Shanghai. Ninth rankedGolden Bulls (25-14) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 10th ranked Sharks (23-15) 99-97 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sharks. Zhejiang GB. made 30-of-38 charity shots (78.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Shanghai was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The winners were led by American Gabe York (190-1993, college: Arizona) who scored that evening 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Zeyi Liu (202-1999) supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Even a double-double of 40 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds by American forward Kenneth Lofton Jr (201-2002, college: La Tech) did not help to save the game for Shanghai . His fellow American import point guard Eric Bledsoe (185-1989, college: Kentucky) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists for lost side. Five Zhejiang GB. and four Shanghai players scored in double figures. Sharks' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Zhejiang GB. moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Liaoning and Qingdao E. Shanghai at the other side keeps the tenth position with 15 games lost.
