There was no surprise in Hangzhou where 15th rankedPioneers (11-26) were defeated by ninth ranked Golden Bulls (24-13) 128-111 on Saturday. Zhejiang GB. made 28-of-34 free shots (82.4 percent) during the game. Zhejiang GB. outrebounded Tianjin 53-35 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zhejiang GB. looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. American center Damian Jones (210-1995, college: Vanderbilt) had a double-double by scoring 30 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Qian Wu (188-1994) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists during the contest. American forward Scottie James Jr (202-1996, college: Liberty, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with 41 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Javion Hamlet (193-1998, college: N.Texas) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
