The game between second rankedLoongs (25-8) and twelfth ranked Monkey Kings Loongs were defeated by Monkey Kings in a tough game in Jiangsu 113-122 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Loongs. Nanjing made 29-of-32 free shots (90.6 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Shanxi L. 's players. 28 personal fouls committed by Shanxi L. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Jalen Harris (196-1998, college: Nevada) who scored 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. Israeli-American forward TJ Leaf (208-1997, college: UCLA) chipped in 27 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). American Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) produced a double-double by scoring 46 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Ning Zhang (192-1997) added 21 points respectively for the guests. Five Nanjing and four Shanxi L. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nanjing maintains twelfth place with 17-17 record. Shanxi L. at the other side keeps the second position with eight games lost.
