No shocking result in a game when third rankedSwordfish (17-8) crushed 5th ranked Magic Deer (4-21) in Shanghai 90-54 on Tuesday. Shanghai forced 21 Xinjiang turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Xinjiang 's players. The winners were led by Puerto Rican-American Arella Guirantes (181-1997, college: Rutgers) who scored that evening 23 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and Brazilian center Kamilla Cardoso (201-2001, college: S.Carolina) supported her with 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Swordfish players scored in double figures. Swordfish's coach felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds by American forward Dariauna Lewis (185-2000, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Xinjiang . Guard Li Yuqiong (173-1995) added 10 points and 5 assists for lost side. Swordfish have a solid three-game winning streak. Shanghai maintains third position with 17-8 record having just three points less than leader Wuhan. Loser Magic Deer keeps the fifth place with 21 games lost. They share the position with Hebei.
