Regular Season Round 28: Hebei - Fujian 91-87

There was a minor upset when their close opponent Fujian Nanan (1-24) lost to sixth ranked Power (4-21) in Hengshui 87-91 on Tuesday. Hebei made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. The winners were led by point guard Li Bingzhen (172-2000) who scored that evening 23 points and 6 assists and American guard Destiny Littleton (175-1999, college: USC) supported her with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds by American center Tearra Banks (188-1995, college: Austin Peay) did not help to save the game for Fujian. Guard Min Fang (170-1998) added 22 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Five Hebei and four Fujian players scored in double figures. Hebei moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Xinjiang. Fujian lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 24 games lost. Hebei will meet at home higher ranked Shandong (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Fujian will have a break next round.
