Not a big story in a game in Taiyuan where 15th rankedPioneers (9-22) were outplayed by second ranked Loongs (23-7) 136-113 on Wednesday. Shanxi L. dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Pioneers 's 48 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Shanxi L. outrebounded Tianjin 48-26 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Shanxi L. shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Guinean-American Hamidou Diallo (198-1998, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field) and American Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) who added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. American guard Marcus LoVett Jr (183-1996, college: St.John's, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 42 points (!!!) and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and his fellow American import forward Scottie James Jr (202-1996, college: Liberty, agency: Pensack Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Shanxi L. maintains second position with 23-7 record having five points less than leader Guangsha L. Loser Pioneers keeps the fifteenth place with 22 games lost.
