Regular Season Round 25: Zhejiang - Jiangsu 87-86

Important game to mention about took place in Yiwu. Second ranked Golden Bulls (13-10) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 4th placed Jiangsu (10-12) 87-86 on Sunday evening. Strangely Jiangsu outrebounded Zhejiang 31-19 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. Nigerian-American guard Ezinne Kalu (173-1992, college: SSU) stepped up and scored 35 points (!!!), 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners and guard Dong Keer (170-1999) chipped in 23 points and 5 assists. Four Golden Bulls players scored in double figures. At the losing side international forward Luo Xinyu (187-2001) responded with 34 points (!!!) and 5 assists and center Xu Chenyan (200-1999) scored 31 points and 8 rebounds. Zhejiang maintains second place with 13-10 record having five points less than leader Wuhan. Jiangsu at the other side keeps the fourth position with 12 games lost. Zhejiang will play against Xinjiang (#5) in Urumqi in the next round. Jiangsu will play at home against Shanghai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
