An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hangzhou. First rankedGuangsha Lions faced second-best Loongs . Host Guangsha Lions (27-4) smashed guests from Taiyuan (23-7) 111-78 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Loongs. Guangsha L. made 23-of-30 charity shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 26 Shanxi L. turnovers. Guangsha L. players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Shanxi L. was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) who led his team to a victory with 38 points (!!!). The former international guard Minghui Sun (187-1996) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 assists and 5 steals for the winners. American Brandon Goodwin (188-1995, college: FGCU) replied with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Harry Giles III (208-1998, college: Duke) added 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) in the effort for Shanxi L.Five Guangsha L. and four Shanxi L. players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Guangsha Lions have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Guangsha L. maintains first position with 27-4 record. Shanxi L. at the other side keeps the second place with seven games lost.
