Important game to mention about took place in Hohhot. Fourth ranked Mongolia (11-6) saved a 3-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Swordfish (11-6) 71-68 in the fight for the third place. Inner M. made 17-of-19 charity shots (89.5 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Lili Wang (183-1992) helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. At the losing side American forward Crystal Bradford (183-1993, college: CMU) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and center Zhang Zhiting (196-1995) scored 14 points. The victory was the third consecutive win for Mongolia. Inner M. moved-up to third place, which they share with Shanghai. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
