LeaderGuangsha Lions delivered the nineteenth win on Thursday night. This time they crushed 16th ranked Blue Whales (6-16) 108-83 in Hangzhou. Guangsha L. forced 21 Sichuan turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. 25 personal fouls committed by Sichuan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American Barry Brown Jr (190-1996, college: Kansas St.) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 assists and 8 steals. His fellow American import power forward Nathan Knight (208-1997, college: William & Mary) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. U.S. Virgin Islands-American forward Marcus Georges-Hunt (196-1994, college: Georgia Tech) produced 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and Croatian center Marin Maric (211-1994, college: DePaul, agency: BIG) added 4 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Five Guangsha L. and four Sichuan players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Guangsha Lions have a solid series of four victories in a row. Guangsha L. maintains first place with 19-3 record. Sichuan at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Guangzhou.
