Everything went according to plan in Shanghai where twelfth rankedSharks (10-10) outleveled bottom-ranked Sturgeons (1-20) 114-92 on Wednesday. Shanghai made 26-of-31 free shots (83.9 percent) during the game. Shanghai outrebounded Fujian S. 52-38 including 16 on the offensive glass. Shanghai looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Fujian S. 's players. It was a great evening for American forward Kenneth Lofton Jr (201-2002, college: La Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international center Zhelin Wang (214-1994) helped adding 19 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Joseph Young (188-1992, college: Oregon) responded with 35 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and forward Yang Zou (198-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sharks have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Shanghai maintains twelfth place with 10-10 record. Fujian S. lost thirteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 20 lost games.
