The game between closely ranked teams ended with second-ranked Golden Bulls' (9-6) road loss to first ranked Flame (12-3) 74-84 on Wednesday. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kelsey Mitchell (173-1995, college: Ohio St.) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import center Olivia Nelson-Ododa (196-2000, college: UConn) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. American forward NaLyssa Smith (193-2000, college: Baylor) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and Nigerian-American guard Ezinne Kalu (173-1992, college: SSU) added 24 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Shanxi maintains first place with 12-3 record, which they share with Wuhan. Zhejiang at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Inner M.. Shanxi will meet at home league's second-placed Shanghai in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Zhejiang will play against Inner M. in Hohhot and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
