Top rankedFlame (8-2) recorded its second loss in Hohhot on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by third ranked Mongolia (7-3) 109-102 . It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Flame. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Inner M. made 27-of-33 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Kalani Brown (201-1997, college: Baylor, agency: LBM Management) who scored 43 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds (on 17-of-20 shooting from the field). The former international power forward Sun Mengran (196-1992) chipped in 15 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Olivia Nelson-Ododa (196-2000, college: UConn) who recorded 34 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and her fellow American import point guard Kelsey Mitchell (173-1995, college: Ohio St.) added 26 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Inner M. moved-up to second place, which they share with Zhejiang. Shanxi at the other side still keeps top position with two games lost. They share it with Heilongjiang and Shanghai.
