Bottom-rankedJiangsu Dragons managed to get a second victory on Wednesday night. This time they won against seventeenth-ranked Blue Whales in Nanjing 125-115 . Jiangsu D. made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Jiangsu D. looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. American Frank Jackson (190-1998, college: Duke) nailed 46 points (!!!) and 7 assists for the winning side and his fellow American import guard Archie Goodwin (196-1994, college: Kentucky) accounted for 26 points and 7 assists. Four Jiangsu Dragons players scored in double figures. American guard Edmond Sumner (198-1995, college: Xavier) came up with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and Croatian center Marin Maric (211-1994, college: DePaul, agency: BIG) added 31 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Sichuan in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Jiangsu D. (2-14) moved-up to nineteenth place. Sichuan lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 12 games lost.
