Regular Season Round 10: Xiamen - Ganzhou 100-98

The most exciting game of round 10 in the WCBA took place in Xiamen. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th rankedGanzhou (3-6) to eighth ranked Xiamen (2-5) 100-98 on Friday evening. Xiamen dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Ganzhou 's 44. They outrebounded Ganzhou 58-31 including a 25-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Imani McGee-Stafford (201-1994, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 19 rebounds and 6 assists. Lai Tingyi (184-2001) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Yang Kejing (175-1999) replied with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American power forward Sidney Cooks (193-1998, college: Seton Hall) added 19 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Ganzhou. Five Ganzhou players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Xiamen maintains eighth position with 2-5 record. Newly promoted Ganzhou keeps the seventh place with six games lost.
