The most important game in the last round took place in Yingkou between third rankedFlying Leopards (10-3) and twelfth ranked Monkey Kings Flying Leopards were defeated by Monkey Kings in a tough game at home 117-124 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Flying Leopards. Nanjing made 29-of-35 free shots (82.9 percent) during the game. Nanjing outrebounded Liaoning 38-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Nanjing shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 51.7 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by Liaoning helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Israeli-American forward TJ Leaf (208-1997, college: UCLA) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Wei Lin (-2003) contributed with 19 points and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Dezmine Wells (196-1992, college: Maryland) replied with 35 points (!!!) and his fellow American import guard Kyle Fogg (191-1990, college: Arizona) added 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Liaoning. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Nanjing moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Guangdong ST. Defending champion Liaoning dropped to the fourth position with three games lost.
