The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss ofLiaoning Hengye (4-1) in Anshan on Tuesday night. Hosts were defeated by hengfan (4-1) 74-60 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Liaoning Hengye. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Liaoning 42-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American point guard Chennedy Carter (175-1998, college: Texas A&M) who scored 42 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. The other American import power forward Peyton Williams (193-1998, college: Kansas St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Montenegrin center Ana Pocek (190-1993) who recorded 15 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Tyasha Harris (178-1998, college: S.Carolina) added 12 points respectively. Liaoning Hengye's coach rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. hengfan have a solid four-game winning streak. Wuhan keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Liaoning .
