Quite upsetting was Jiangsu's (#2) home defeat in a game versus third ranked Zhejiang 103-98. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jiangsu. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Golden Bulls made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Nigerian-American guard Ezinne Kalu (173-1992, college: SSU) who scored 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. American forward NaLyssa Smith (193-2000, college: Baylor) chipped in 23 points and 9 rebounds. Five Golden Bulls players scored in double figures. Canadian guard Kayla Davis (170-1995, college: Towson) produced 41 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and center Xu Chenyan (200-1999) added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Zhejiang (3-1) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Jiangsu dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams.
