Power forward Ali Haidar (203-F/C-1990, college: Michigan Tech) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 34 points he had in the West Asia Super League. Haidar graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2013. His excellent performance made his team Sagesse beat the Al Wahda 105 to 92. He also added 10 rebounds that evening. Among many awards his team won the Libyan Cup in 2025. He was also selected as the AsiaBasket All Iraqi League Import Player of the Year, was selected to the First Team and All Imports Team back in 2021.
