Iran wins WABA U16 Championship

Iran won WABA U16 Championship with 5 participating teams. Iran posted four victories in the campaign and finished with a perfect 4-0 record. In the decisive game they overcame Lebanon 70-64. Iran and Lebanon earned the tickets to the Asian qualification as 2 teams out of 5 went through. Lebanon meanwhile finished with a 3-1 record defeating Jordan, Syria and Iraq.
