Iran triumphs in Amman

Iran triumphed at 16th WABA Championship finishing with a perfect 4-0 record. Dirk Bauermann 's men overcame Jordan 85-75 in their last game and sealed the top place.
Last night Jordan beat Lebanon 83-82 and qualified for the 2016 FIBA Asia Challenge. Iraq meanwhile clinched third spot after a 84-61 win over Syria. The top three teams advanced to the event which will be held in Iran from September 9-18, 2016.
