Iran and Iraq posted victories on Day 4 of WABA 2016. Iraq surprised Lebanon in second overtime. Iraq took a 19-14 lead at the end of the first period and had a 32-30 half-time advantage. Both teams stayed close to each other in the rest of the game and finished fourth period with a 65-65 score on the board. It was tied again at 77-77 after the first extra time, while Iraq grabbed a 88-87 win later in the game.
Iran meanwhile overcame Jordan 85-75. The third period as decisive in the game when Iran needed a final 28-19 surge to seal the victory.
