Chemidor top Naft to win WABA Champions Cup

Chemidor secured the top position in the WABA Champions Cup. The Iranian team fired past hosting Naft in Baghdad to secure the fourth win in as many games at the event. Mohammad Jamshidi (199-SF-91) recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds to lead the winners.
Chemidor jumped to a 15:12 lead after the opening frame. Naft denied the deficit to tie things up at 29 at the interval. Chemidor stepped on the gas in the third term. They dropped 23 points to secure a 4-point lead at the final break. Chemidor held Naft to just 10 points in the fourth quarter and raced to a crucial win. Arman Zangeneh (202-PF-93) had 11 points and 15 rebounds in the victory. Tayloe Taylor (191-G-86, college: Livingstone) delivered 20 points for Naft.
