Host teams show no mercy winning all games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Second defeat of league's leader Heat (10-2) against fourth ranked Dolphins (8-6) 99-95 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Heat. Dolphins forced 19 Heat turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Robert Sampson (203-1992, college: Georgia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points and 17 rebounds. Center Dominique Tham (195-1996, college: Mount Olive) contributed with 24 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 51 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for Heat. Dolphins maintains fourth position with 8-6 record. Defending champion Heat dropped to the second place with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Buffaloes. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Buffaloes as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Buffaloes defeated 6th ranked Catfish in Hanoi 95-81. American Anthony January (204-1993, college: CSUSB, agency: Interperformances) had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Udun Osakue chipped in 20 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Joshua Keyes (201-1995, college: Muskingum, agency: PBAplayers Agency) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 blocks. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Catfish at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Catfish will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Buffaloes will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Dragons at Danang.




Dolphins - Saigon Heat 99-95

Swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 51 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals and forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) added 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Heat. Buffaloes - Catfish 95-81

They outrebounded Catfish 50-33 including a 23-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Buffaloes players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American Anthony January (204-1993, college: CSUSB, agency: Interperformances) had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 20 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American-Nigerian forward Udun Osakue (198-1992, college: SF State, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 20 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest.
