Catfish - Buffaloes 96-81 Buffaloes (#4) were upset in Can Tho by seventh ranked Catfish 96-81. Catfish forced 19 Buffaloes turnovers and outrebounded them 43-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American center DeAngelo Hamilton (203-1990, college: WSU) who had a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 6 assists. The former international point guard Sang Dinh Thanh (185-1994) chipped in 22 points and 7 rebounds. Four Catfish players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-1991, college: Jackson St.) who recorded 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Shane Henry (203-1993, college: Virginia Tech) added 16 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Catfish maintains seventh place with 3-7 record. Loser Buffaloes dropped to the second position with four games lost. They share it with City Wings. Catfish will meet at home league's leader Heat in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
