Gyrat - Binagyar 65-74

Binagyar overcame Gyrat to sweep the quarterfinal series. It looked good early as Gyrat took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Binagyar had a 20-15 second period charge getting the lead and Gyrat was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 65-74. They outrebounded Gyrat 48-35 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Annaguly Hojagulyyev (195-0) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Kerim Mammetmuradov (180-97) chipped in 31 points during the contest. Forward Atamyrat Chalyev (201) responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Kerim Satylov (188-88) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Gyrat's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Dragon Oil - Gurlushikchi 78-57

Dragon Oil held off Gurlushikchi to force the decisive third game in the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 44-21 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Dragon Oil outrebounded Gurlushikchi 63-39 including a 21-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dragon Oil made 7 blocks. Guard Nurislam Mahtumov (190-89) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Nury Agadjanov (190-88) supported him with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Four Dragon Oil players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds by center Muhammet Begenjov (198-89) did not help to save the game for Gurlushikchi. Forward Sapaly Zayrov (190-90) added 12 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Gurlushikchi's coach Murat Atamedov gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.
