Nury Agadjanov
Experienced Nury Agadjanov (190-F-88) had an amazing evening in the last round for Dragon Oil and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 21.
The 31-year old forward had the game-high 16 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Dragon Oil in his team's victory, helping them to beat Balkan (#7, 6-11) 86-71. Dragon Oil maintains the 5th position in Turkmen NBLT. Dragon Oil is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 9-8 record. Agadjanov turned to be Dragon Oil's top player in his first season with the team. Agadjanov has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 16.8ppg) and averages solid 3.0spg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Dragon Oil's star - 27-year old forward Denis Zazulia (197-F-92). Zazulia impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 12 rebounds. Of course together with Agadjanov he helped Dragon Oil with another comfortable win 86-71 over slightly lower-ranked Balkan (#7, 6-11) being unquestionably team leader. Dragon Oil's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 9-8 record is not bad and everything may still change. Zazulia is one of the most experienced players at Dragon Oil and similarly like Nury Agadjanov has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was another Dragon Oil's star - Eziz Mavyev (182-G-92). Mavyev showcased his all-around game by recording 13 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and seven assists in the last round. He was another key player of Dragon Oil, helping his team with a 86-71 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Balkan (#7, 6-11). Dragon Oil needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 9 victories and 8 lost games. Mavyev has a great season in Turkmenistan. After 17 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.9apg (2nd best).
Other top performing players last week:
4. Azat Tachmammenov (179-PG) of Balkan - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
