The game in was quite interesting. 5th ranked Dragon Oil (9-8) played at the court of sixth ranked Balkan (6-11). Balkan defeated Dragon Oil 81-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Balkan. Dragon Oil managed to win fourth quarter 28-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Balkan forced 23 Dragon Oil turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Muhammed Arazmammedov (180) who scored 30 points and 4 steals. point guard Azat Tachmammenov (179) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Balkan's coach Islam Tachmammedov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Mamed Satlikov (184-92) who recorded 23 points and 9 rebounds. Balkan have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain sixth place with 6-11 record, which they share with Galkan. Dragon Oil lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost.

Eziz Mavyev contributed with 13 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 9 steals for the winners. Forward Gennadiy Morozov (201) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds for Balkan. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dragon Oil maintains fifth place with 9-8 record. Balkan at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Galkan.

The best stats of 21th round was 16 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals by Nury Agadjanov of Dragon Oil.



Dragon Oil - Balkan 86-71

Local Dragon Oil (9-8) beat 6th ranked Balkan (6-11) 86-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Balkan. Balkan was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Dragon Oil dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Balkan's 26. Dragon Oil forced 35 Balkan turnovers and outrebounded them 54-37 including a 25-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for forward Denis Zazulia (197-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Eziz Mavyev (182-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 9 steals for the winners. Forward Gennadiy Morozov (201) answered with 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Islam Taganov (182) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Balkan. Four Balkan players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dragon Oil maintains fifth place with 9-8 record.
