Duhok clunched the second win at the Asia Club Championship in Beirut. The Iraqi team overcame Belent to finish at 2-2 record in the third position in the ladder. Duhok will take on Mahram, while Belent will face Riyadi in the semifinal round tomorrow.
Belent ensured a strong start to the game. They piled up a 23:17 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Duhok stopped the rot in the second period. The Iraqis narrowed the deficit at 3-point mark 36:39. Duhok went on a 23:12 run in the third stanza to ensure a 59:51 lead with ten minutes remaining. Duhok exploded with 29 points in the fourth stanza to seal the winning outcome at the end. Antonio Webb (178-G-84, college: Beth.-Cookman) provided 27 points, while Kendall Dartez (207-C/F-80, college: Louisville) contributed 19 points and 13 rebounds in the victory. Aleksandr Kozlov (200-F-82) answered with 23 points for Belent. Samender Juginisov (204-F/C-87) had 18 points in the loss.
