Kobe Lawrence's triple-double lands him Warriors League Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

American Guard Kobe Lawrence (193-G) had an amazing evening in the last round for Sun Devilz and receives a Hoops Agents Warriors League Player of the Week award for round 6.
He recorded a triple-double of 19 points adding also 21 rebounds and 10 assists, while his team crushed Stuff Bisons (#7, 1-6) with 18-point margin 86-68. Sun Devilz maintains the 3rd position in Thailand Warriors League. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Sun Devilz will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Lawrence had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Sun Devilz, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Cedar Valley College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lawrence is in league's top in assists (6th best: 6.7apg) and averages solid 2.7bpg and 76.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Javan Smith (190-G-1996) of New Force BC. He is American guard in his first season at New Force. In the last game Smith recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as New Force lost that game 74-85 to slightly higher-ranked Howard Hoops (#5, 4-3). New Force is still second from the bottom in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories New Force managed to get this year. Smith is a newcomer at New Force and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.7ppg (#8). His other stats are also decent: 8.0rpg and 6.3apg. Former Palm Beach State College star Smith is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mark Blair (190-PG-2000) of league's leader Thailand Titans. Blair showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Titans, leading his team to a 113-57 easy win against CNX Orion (#8, 0-7). Titans confirms their top position in the standings. Blair has a great season in Thailand. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.4ppg (9th best), rebounds with 10.9rpg (6th best) and assists with 11.7apg (best passer). He also has 2.1spg and a FGP of 56.3%. Blair attended one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on his way to pro basketball.
